The General Practitioners
The practice is formed by a partnership of 6 doctors. They are:

Dr Patricia McDonald
Dr Patricia Donald, MBE
1978 MB ChB DRCOG FRCGP FRCP(Edin)

I qualified in Medicine in Edinburgh and joined the practice in 1981, following my hospital and GP training. I am the 4th generation of Dr Donalds within the practice, which had functioned from two sites, Cramond and Leith (the premises in Leith being part of my old family home). I have a particular interest in women’s health and coronary heart disease, but have always enjoyed the traditional role of the family doctor. I have been involved with the RCGP and RCPE in areas of clinical effectiveness and evidence based medicine in Scotland and continue to play a part in the Primary Care Organisation.
